Fans recently expressed their thoughts on Chael Sonnen teasing a boxing match with old rival Anderson Silva. The two are slated to face each other on June 15 in Brazil.
Silva previously starred in a multi-million-dollar Brazilian TV advertising campaign. The marketing campaign was for Spaten, one of the 30 beers that the largest brewer in the world, Anheuser-Busch InBev, makes in Brazil. The name of this advertisement is 'Not all strength is brute'.
The Brazilian revealed that his last fight would be on June 15 in a brief promo for Spaten Fight Night, a combat sports event that is part of the Spaten Beer Marketing Campaign. The advertisement was displayed on a 3D billboard in Shinjuku, Japan, last Wednesday.
Following the announcement, Hollywood actor Terry Crews took to social media and challenged Silva for a fight. Just hours later, Silva accepted the bout. However, Sonnen recently stated on Instagram that Silva would be his opponent in the latter's final fight. With the following caption, he wrote:

Fans soon rushed to the comments section and mocked Sonnen, citing his two defeats against Silva. They wrote:
''You've already beaten the man twice. Show some humility and leave the poor man alone.''
''Chael has beat him twice and now he’s going for a third? At this point he’s just bullying the poor man''
''Anderson really wants to lose to Chael for a 3rd time''
''Uncle Chael is about to bury this guy for the 3rd time in a totally different sport. Amazing.''

The bout was later confirmed by Spaten Beer, who made the announcement with the following caption:
''Anderson Silva's real opponent in his grand finale at Spaten Fight Night: Chael Sonnen! We are ready for this historic duel, are you?''

The UFC witnessed one of the most prolific rivalries ever between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen. Silva and Sonnen, fighting at the peak of their abilities, collided twice inside the renowned octagon.
Silva defended his middleweight title against 'The American Gangster' in their first meeting at UFC 117. Despite dominating Silva for four rounds, Sonnen was trapped in a triangle armbar in the fifth and ultimately lost the fight.

They fought again at UFC 148. In the first round, Silva was once again dominated by his opponent. But the Brazilian won the bout via TKO after dropping Sonnen in round two.
