In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Canadian Lethwei fighter Dave Leduc recently detailed his experience of fighting in the maximum security Klong Pai Central Prison in Thailand and facing a man convicted of drug trafficking.

A former WLC (World Lethwei Championship) cruiserweight champion, Leduc gained far-reaching infamy and became a household name in the Burmese boxing circuit by becoming the first Canadian to win the controversial Prison Fight.

Since its inception, Prison Fight has gained notoriety for its foundation based on handing violent inmates an opportunity to reduce their sentences and even earn their freedom by winning a series of Muay Thai fights against foreign fighters.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Andrew Whitelaw of Sportskeeda MMA, Dave Leduc recounted the experience of fighting Thahan Chor Chatchai, a prison inmate convicted of murder and methamphetamine trafficking:

"He's [the prisoner] a legit guy and it was a hell of a fight. I really thought he was going to go down, he didn't go down."

Leduc added that he landed several elbows on the crown of his opponent's head, leaving him bloody and battered:

"I dropped so many elbows on top of his head and we both looked like a Stephen King movie. He had so much blood....it was all his blood. "
