Muay Thai legend 'Hitman' Liam Harrison was on track to battle furious puncher 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon. The striker is not the perfect fit due to size and injury, but Harrison is always down for a scrap.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Harrison revealed the plan:

"Yeah. I mean, before my injury, before I realized I needed surgery, Chatri asked me if I would fight on that card and it was even mentioned to be a catchweight fight against Rodtang, which would’ve been unbelievable. Well obviously I needed the surgery and that’s that."

No matter the name, Liam Harrison is always interested in a Muay Thai fight. He continued:

"But yeah I’d love to. Like I said, I just want to fight as regularly as possible and if I can get on the big cards that would be amazing."

In addition to having an exhibition boxing bout against Floyd Mayweather, 'Hitman' was looking to have multiple bouts in ONE Championship, including a catchweight against 'The Iron Man'.

In the above interview, Liam Harrison explained:

"Obviously, I had some massive fights for you guys lined up. I spoke to [ONE Championship CEO] Chatri [Sityodtong], and he said I’m gonna fight Pongsiri [PK.Saenchai] in January. He said if I win that, I can fight Nong-O again for the rematch for the title in March and in May, then he asked me to do a catchweight fight with Rodtang [Jitmuangnon]. So they were some of the biggest fights imaginable for me out there."
