Multi-time Muay Thai world champion Liam Harrison is sidelined with injuries at the moment, but he's still dedicated to teaching younger fighters. This time, showing how effective in-fight sweeps can be when used correctly.

The English striker enjoys teaching others about as much as he likes competing—and despite being injured—Harrison continues to motivate the younger generation.

'Hitman' is one of the most accomplished strikers to come out of the UK, winning three Muay Thai world titles throughout his storied career.

Liam Harrison grateful to what Muay Thai has provided him

Liam Harrison asserts that Muay Thai truly saved him from living a life on the rough streets of Leeds. He's eager to share his story with aspiring fighters in order to motivate them. Harrison shared via Instagram:

"Obviously, I've grown up in a rough area where honestly not many people make it out. A lot of my friends have ended up in jail. While they were out in the streets getting up to all sorts, I was in the gym.
"In the gym at 13, 14. Then at 15, I started to get really serious with my training ... And that's when most of my friends - some were like getting sent off to jail and they're on the brink of either going one way or the other. I totally left all that."

Since joining ONE Championship in 2018, Liam Harrison has picked up knockout wins over Mohammed Bin Mahmoud and Muangthai PK.Saenchai, and even earning a cool $100,000 performance bonus for his efforts against Muangthai.

Unfortunately, 'Hitman' came up short in his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title bid against the great Nong-O Hama last August.

He was then scheduled to face Pongsiri P.K.Saenchaimuaythaigym at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video, but was forced to withdraw due to an injury that required surgery.

Harrison is currently in recovery mode, eager to be healthy enough to spar in the gym to prepare for his next bout.
