Lito ‘Thunder Kid’ Adiwang believes Anissa Meksen has little more than a puncher’s chance to earn a win in her next appearance on January 13.

The Muay Thai specialist will make her fourth walk to the Circle at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video to take part in the first women’s mixed-rules superfight. Meeting her inside the cage will be No. 1 ranked atomweight contender, Stamp Fairtex.

Ahead of the highly anticipated clash, Adiwang shared his thoughts on the contest, specifically Anissa Meksen’s chances of winning while speaking with ONE Championship

“Anissa has a big chance in winning just by knockout, that’s it.”

Asked straight forward who he sees walking away with the W at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Adiwang responded emphatically.

“I’m really giving an edge to Stamp. So Stamp.”

Meksen is undefeated inside the Circle, competing in both Muay Thai and kickboxing bouts thus far. In recent years, Stamp Fairtex has carved out a respectable 9-2 record in MMA, capturing the 2021 Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix championship and a title fight with atomweight queen Angela Lee at ONE X last March.

Given Stamp’s experience in MMA, that portion of the bout will most certainly be in her favor. However, with both women going into the bout as former Muay Thai world champions, anything could happen, especially in the opening round.

Anissa Meksen says you don’t blink during her historic bout with Stamp Fairtex

Anissa Meksen doesn’t get paid by the hour. When she steps into the Circle for a mixed-rules showdown with Stamp Fairtex, she has every intention of ending things early.

In an interview with ONE, ‘C18’ shared her desire to put a stamp, no pun intended, on her fourth bout under the ONE banner.

“My goal is to finish her, 100 percent. It doesn’t matter during which round, but a first-round (finish) would be good. So my goal is to finish her in the first round. (Fans can expect) a quick fight."

That will likely be easier said than done, as Stamp Fairtex is notoriously hard to finish inside the Circle.

During her time as the ONE atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion, Stamp has only experienced two losses. Both came against current ONE world champions and both by way of incredibly close split decisions.

ONE Fight Night 6 will air live and for free to subscribers on Amazon Prime Video in U.S. primetime.
