Sean O'Malley will be seen and heard on an upcoming episode of Joe Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. JRE is notably the most popular podcast on the planet.

O'Malley is among a long list of popular fighters and celebrities to have joined the UFC announcer and comedian on his popular podcast. In the latest episode of his podcast, TimboSugarShow, the bantamweight contender detailed his experience by saying:

"I thought the conversation went well - I think it was over three hours... I feel like there was a lot of stuff that I wanted say or talk about that I never got to or just didn't get brought up. I thought it was good. We talked a lot about fights, a lot about fighting, a lot about older fights that I had no idea like I don't f***in' know any of these guys."

Rogan has a relaxed, loose interview style, which makes it appealing for listeners and comes off as being a casual conversation. 'Sugar' added that his fights were among those that they were talking about:

"A lot of fight stuff - the Petr Yan fight, the 'Chito' fight, 'Aljo' (Sterling), Henry (Cejudo), 'Izzy' (Adesanya) - it was kind of like the UFC 281 recap - it was good. All around it was good."

O'Malley is coming off his split-decision win against former UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan, which was the biggest win of his career. The win was significant and worth the risk as he moved up to the No.1 contender spot in the UFC's bantamweight rankings.

Who will Sean O'Malley fight next?

Sean O'Malley is in a very good position in the bantamweight division. He is currently the No.1- ranked bantamweight and could be next in line for a title shot against Aljamain Sterling.

If a title shot doesn't come to fruition, a rematch against Marlon 'Chito' Vera would be logical for the promotion. The two fought each other at UFC 252, which saw 'Chito' handing 'Sugar' his first career loss.

Another opponent could be former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo, who has gone back and forth on social media with the champion as well as other top bantamweight contenders. If Sterling decides to take a long layoff, the promotion could book O'Malley-Cejudo for an interim bantamweight title.
