"Made that kids entire childhood" - Fans rain praises on Merab Dvalishvili for making a young fan's day at UFC 308 Q&A

MMA fans recently praised Merab Dvalishvili after his wholesome interaction with one of his young fans. Initially, Dvalishvili signed a pair of gloves brought by the fan, but his following act earned him wholehearted appreciation from the MMA community.

Dvalishvili appeared at a Q&A session in Abu Dhabi alongside former UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. Amidst several other interactions, a young fan climbed the stage to greet the Georgian and the Australian UFC stars. Both Dvalishvili and Volkanovski signed the gloves offered by him.

Merab was excited after learning that the fan trains in MMA and likes wrestling. He asked the fan to wrestle him and also let him score a throw. Following this, Volkanovski acted as the referee and declared the fan as the victor.

MMA fans appreciated Dvalishvili's considerate act massively in the comments section of an Instagram post by MMA Junkie that showcased the entire interaction.

Merab Dvalishivili questions Umar Nurmagomedov's case for a title shot

The Q&A session also had another fan questioning Merab Dvalishvili about whether he was afraid of fighting Umar Nurmagomedov. However, the current UFC bantamweight champion provided a befitting reply to the fan.

Dvalishvili mentioned that he has no issues with taking on Nurmagomedov but ruled him out as deserving of a shot at UFC bantamweight gold. 'The Machine' said:

"He's [Umar's] not going to make this fight. I'm not making fight. Dana White and Hunter [Campbell] making decision as to who I'm going to fight next. I don't make decision. I never make decision. If Dana White tell me I have to fight Umar, I'll fight Umar. But you know what? Umar doesn't deserve to fight me. Sean O'Malley deserves to fight me and I'm going to rematch him. But after [that] Umar has to prove and [then] I'll fight him."
