UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili recently issued his final message to Sean O'Malley ahead of their rematch. 'The Machine' looks to make his second successful title defense.
Dvalishvili and 'Suga' are set to face each other at UFC 316 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on June 7. Their previous outing at UFC Noche witnessed the Georgian dethrone O'Malley via unanimous decision.
Throughout their first fight, Dvalishvili engaged in several antics like kissing the former champion on his back and arguing with the cornermen. This time around, the Georgian promises to secure the victory without such activities.
At the recently held ceremonial weigh-in, the bantamweight champion said:

Sean O'Malley previews his upcoming fight against Merab Dvalishvili
Former bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley recently shared his perspective on his upcoming rematch against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 316. 'Suga' looks to become the two-time bantamweight champion after losing to 'The Machine' in September last year.
The Georgian fighter dominated O'Malley, showcasing his wrestling skills. However, the Helena native expressed confidence in his striking skills ahead of the fight and believes he could secure the victory via knockout.
On the latest episode of UFC 316 Countdown, he said:
"It’s no secret, it’s striker vs. wrestler, it’s finisher vs. decisioner. His game plan is to get hold of me. My goal is to go out there and put his lights out."
He added:
"This fight, he said, 'I’m going to prove how crazy I am, I am going to box with him.' If that’s his game plan, that would be stupid. I know I can put Merab’s lights out. UFC 316, I am going to finish Merab, the fact that he beat me, and I go out and finish him makes it that much sweeter."
