Muhammad Mokaev is rightfully considered one of the most promising prospects in the sport and despite his young age. He has goals of giving back to his country and has now revealed huge plans if he is to become UFC champion.

The elite grappler entered the octagon as an exciting talent and lived up to that hype in his debut outing with a first-round submission over Cody Durden in under a minute. The 22-year-old remains unbeaten in the sport at 10-0 and has aspirations of becoming the youngest UFC champion, surpassing Jon Jones' 12-year record.

While discussing his past and how he got into fighting, Muhammad Mokaev insisted that once he gets his hands on UFC gold, he will begin putting plans into place to improve opportunities for the younger generation.

"I want to give back to this country, I want to give back to the younger generation, motive them. I see a lot of kids now on the streets... In my gym once I become a UFC champion I want to open [my own] gym and get the kids out of the streets," stated Mokaev.
"I used to clean mats for the free membership. When I left Wigan Youth Zone, I went to a normal gym, I couldn't afford the membership, so I asked what can I do... I trained there for free. Now I can pay the gym the money... If you love something, you'll find it. Even if you don't have the money."

Mokaev proudly represents the UK, having grown up in Greater Manchester during his youth. With his recently found success, the star is passionate about helping those in a similar situation to how he was.

Muhammad Mokaev injury: What happened to the flyweight during his most recent fight?

Last time out, Muhammad Mokaev welcomed submission wizard Jafel Filho to his UFC debut as the British prospect looked to extend his winning run in the octagon to four straight.

Having dominated the majority of the bout, 'The Punisher' was comfortable in the grappling exchanges, but one careless moment saw the Brazilian lock the undefeated star into a tight kneebar.

After enduring the excruciating pain from the hold—which was later revealed to have caused a partial MCL tear—Mokaev fought back and sank in a neck crank to earn the submission finish.
