UFC Flyweight Division
The Flyweight Division in Mixed Martial Arts as defined by the Nevada State Athletic Comission combat sports doctrine and by the Association of Boxing Comissions groups together all competitors from 125 lb (57 kg) and below. The Flyweight Division sits between the Strawweight Division (106 lbs-115 lbs) and the Bantamweight Division (126 lbs-135lbs).
In the UFC, the Flyweight Division competitors sit within 116 to 125 lbs. The UFC also has a separate UFC Women’s Flyweight division for all its female competitors.

Demetrious Johnson defeated Joseph Benavidez in 2012, at UFC 152 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the finale of a 4-man tournament for the inaugural title. Johnson's reign lasted for 2,142 days and during his days as UFC Flyweight Champion, DJ defended the title against John Dodson, John Moraga, Joseph Benavidez, Ali Bagautinov, Chris Cariaso, Kyoji Horiguchi, Henry Cejudo, Tim Elliott, Wilson Reis, and Ray Borg.
Demetrious Johnson eventually lost the UFC Flyweight Championship to Henry Cejudo at UFC 227. At UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs Dillashaw, Henry Cejudo defended his UFC Flyweight Championship against T.J. Dillashaw and became a double champion, holding both the UFC Flyweight and Bantamweight Championships at the same time.
Till date there have been only two UFC Flyweight Champions in history with Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo winning the title on one occasions each. Johnson, since losing the title, has left the UFC and has signed with ONE Championship.
