When it comes to UFC fighters and the brands they own and operate, Dustin Poirier and his Louisiana style hot sauce often come to mind.

Apart from promoting it at UFC events and press conferences, 'The Diamond' can be seen consistently plugging the product on his social media. Recently, Nina-Marie Daniele, the popular influencer, took to Instagram and shared a post regarding Poirier's hot sauce.

Daniele appears to be a fan of the product, as she recently took to Instagram to share a story in which she made a special request to the UFC lightweight. Tagging Poirier, she wrote:

"Dear @dustinpoirier petition to make a travel sized bottle of @poiriersauce so I don't have to carry this big bottle"

In the clip, she can be seen pulling out a bottle of the hot sauce and adding it to her meal. She went on to add that they needed to make travel sized bottles as she couldn't be "acting like this in public."

For those who don't know, Dustin Poirier's hot sauce was the result of his collaboration with the Heartbeat Hot Sauce Co., and hit shelves back in December of 2020. Originally an homage to his Louisiana roots, Poirier has since gone on to work with the company to introduce a few different variants of his hot sauce.

Dustin Poirier to face Islam Makhachev for the lightweight title at UFC 302

Following his win over Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 299, Dustin Poirier has been booked to face reigning 155 pound champion, Islam Makhachev, in the main event of UFC 302, which takes place on June 1st at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Despite beating Saint Denis, many wondered where Poirier stood in the lightweight division following his knockout loss to Justin Gaethje. 'The Highlight', however, was booked to face Max Holloway at UFC 300, and ended up on the wrong side of a brutal knockout.

With no other top contender ready to face the champion at UFC 302, it looks like the promotion has decided to give Poirier another crack at the title. Considering 'The Diamond's' age, this may very well be his final opportunity at lightweight gold.
