"No one deserves this folks" - Joe Rogan and Charlie Sheen react to the Charlie Kirk shooting incident on JRE podcast

Joe Rogan and American actor Charlie Sheen addressed the killing of Charlie Kirk in a recent shooting incident. Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed on Sept. 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem.

He was sitting at a table taking questions from the audience when a single round was fired from the roof of a nearby building. Investigators later recovered a bolt-action rifle at the scene.

Officials say the shooting appeared to be a planned political attack. The suspect is still at large, while the FBI have released a few pictures of the alleged attacker.

Speaking on episode #2378 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC color commentator and Sheen described it as a disturbing sign of growing hostility. Rogan said:

“No one deserves this, folks. No one that has different opinions. No one deserves that. This is horrible. I know people are going to celebrate it because this is a f*cked time and people have really fallen into this trap of us against them."

Sheen added:

“Sometimes you’re in a crowd and it’s all love. It’s all love, and all they want is your signature or a photo. But there are so many of those moments where you spend time looking down. You’re looking down the entire time. I don’t think anybody wants to shoot me, but it’s the type of thing that just lives in the back of your mind. How could it not?”

Rogan also said that he had met Kirk once before the tragedy. The meeting happened briefly at a gun range, and he remembered Kirk as polite and respectful during their exchange.

Joe Rogan and Charlie Sheen recently addressed the killing of Charlie Kirk on the JRE podcast.

Rogan dismissed claims that the shooting could have been accidental or linked to celebratory gunfire. Both warned that celebrating or excusing such violence is not the right approach.

They said that Kirk was known for debating on campuses and should have been challenged through conversation, rather than intimidation. Rogan said:

"There's going to be a lot of people celebrating this. It's so scary. It's so dangerous too, to celebrate or to in any way encourage this kind of behavior from human beings... He's not a violent guy. He's talking to people on college campuses. Wasn't even particularly rude. He tried to be pretty reasonable with people."
