At ONE Fight Night 32 inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, the fighting pride of Sor Dechapan made it four wins on the trot under the promotional banner via a solid three-round showing against Morocco standout Elmehdi El Jamari in their strawweight Muay Thai tussle.

Though a mysterious fight week illness came knocking at his door, threatening to potentially halt his winning streak, the Kuala Lumpur-based fighter managed to stay sharp across his thrilling nine-minute matchup on his way to a deserving unanimous decision win.

While the win was sweet, what made his latest appearance inside the Mecca of Muay Thai more memorable was his faceoff against reigning ONE strawweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai—a move by the promotion possibly signaling that he may have done enough to earn a crack at the latter's 26 pounds of gold.

Aliff has been wanting in on a chance to share the global stage with the two-sport king from PK Saenchai Muaythaigym since his first-round finish of Shamil Adukhov at ONE Fight Night 28 this past February, the same night where Prajanchai defended his Muay Thai strap with a fourth-round TKO of British slugger Ellis Badr Barboza.

Whether it is going to be a dream five-round thriller against Prajanchai or another assignment before he realizes his dream to become Malaysia's first ONE world champion, the young gun should certainly be at his ferocious best when he returns.
