There is a reason why ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is called 'The Iron Man.' You can hit him with a telephone pole across the face and he'll smile at you and goad you to do it again. "Iron" might not even be apt anymore - his chin might be made of vibranium.

In a sport where it's normal to fight more than ten times a year, the fact that Rodtang hasn't been stopped in striking competitions in nearly a decade is just legendary. The internet is riddled with clips of the ONE flyweight Muay Thai king taking a full-on head kick, a powerful overhand, or a ferocious combination to the chin without flinching at all.

He would even put his hands down and allow his opponent to hit him multiple times in the jaw just to prove a point. That is absolutely terrifying. We cannot name another fighter with the same fighting style and not get knocked out for more than ten years. Even the great Anderson Silva got his clock cleaned for willingly absorbing shots to the jaw.

ONE Championship put together a highlight video showing the indestructible chin of 'The Iron man.' Seriously, every single time the ONE flyweight Muay Thai king ate a shot, he made it look like his opponent merely messed up his hair.

Here's the video:

Rodtang aims to make history by becoming a two-sport world champion at ONE Fight Night 8

On March 24th, at ONE Fight Night 8, Rodtang Jitmuangnon will look to become a two-sport champion by challenging ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the belt. With over 500 pro fights between the two world champions, this clash is surely a once-in-a-lifetime event.

'The Iron Man' will surely bring his legendary jaw as he locks horns with the great 'Kicking Machine'. Superlek is currently 8-1 in ONE Championship and is on a 6-fight winning streak. He has wins over ONE Super Series standouts Taiki Naito and Walter Goncalves, and twice over Rodtang's teammate Panpayak Jitmuangnon.

One interesting bit about this fight is the fact that both 'The Iron Man and 'The Kicking Machine' primarily use forward pressure to break the will of their opponents.

Superlek mostly uses his kicks to break the spirit of his foe, while Rodtang, well, uses all his limbs to overwhelm his victims into submission. This will boil down to who takes the center of the Circle and imposes his will early. We have ourselves a classic "unstoppable force meets an immovable object" scenario here, ladies and gentlemen.

Fans in North America can catch ONE Fight Night 8 in U.S. primetime on March 24th, live and for free on Prime Video with an Amazon subscription.
