Fifth-ranked strawweight MMA contender Danial Williams returned to the circle on Friday night as part of ONE Championship’s stacked ONE on Prime Video 3 card.

‘Mini T’ squared off with streaking strawweight Jeremy Miado. With both fighters riding the wave of a three-fight win streak, a win for either one of them could have put them in the conversation for a shot at reigning ONE strawweight world champion Joshua ‘The Passion’ Pacio.

Both fighters got off to a quick start, but an accidental groin strike suffered by Danial Williams briefly paused the action. Back to it, Williams landed a solid right but ate a straight left for his trouble. Fists started flying, with Williams getting the better of the exchange, prompting Miado to clinch against the cage.

Jeremy Miado dragged Danial Williams to the mat and easily transitioned to full mount. Williams worked back to half-guard as Miado looked to maintain control. ‘Mini T’ wall walked back to his feet and the two warriors reset in the center of the circle.

Jeremy Miado landed a massive right that dropped Williams. Miado swarmed in, delivering a knee strike that landed flush. Williams fought his way back to his feet and the two fighters started throwing bombs. Miado was stunned by a solid right but delivered his own overhand right in the closing moments of the round.

It was an action-packed fight filled with explosive moments.

Both fighters came out for the second round with Williams looking the worst of the two. Each fighter was much more methodical in the second following a fast and furious first round.

Williams delivered a body shot and narrowly dodged a looping right by Miado. Williams then landed a stiff body kick, sending an echo throughout the arena.

Jeremy Miado then landed a big left that dropped Williams. ‘Mini T’ popped back up but ate another right, then a left. Clearly rocked, Williams attempted to clinch but was unable to bring Miado to the canvas.

Following the contest, an emotional Miado appeared in a post-fight interview with Mitch Chilson, who spoke to him about the spectacular third-round finish.

“First of all, I would like to thank God for giving me this victory. Thank you, everyone. Thank you so much, my team. My coaches. My wife. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. I don’t know what to say. I’m ready. My family is ready for that one. Thank you so much, everyone. Thank you so much to my family, my team, and then the people of Philippines, thank you so much. Make some noise!”

Asked about his impressive performance against Williams, Miado credited it to his dedication to training every day and the support of his friends and family. With his fourth straight victory, he called his shot, wanting to fight in his home country:

“I work every day. I train like six hours a day every day. No rest. I think I deserve this one and to know who is the real deal in this division. I’m coming for you. Give me fight in Manilla. I’m ready. I can put on another show for you guys.”
