Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson recently opened up about his memorable moment of ripping apart the door on the set of 'The Ultimate Fighter' and revealed a hidden story that triggered him to do so.

Jackson served as a coach on two seasons of 'TUF', with his second stint on season 10 being the most memorable. The season featured the likes of Roy Nelson, Kimbo Slice, and Brendan Schaub, and saw the former light heavyweight champion coach opposite his bitter rival Rashad Evans.

During a recent episode of his Jaxxon Podcast with guest Chris Leben, who was also no stranger to the show, 'Rampage' aired his grievances for what led to the famous moment. He mentioned that a female judge brought her young daughter around, which caused a distraction while she was working the fight. He said:

"This one lady was there with her kid. She was judging the fights...Yeah, she had a kid there and her kid was running around. She was tending to the kid while the guys' fighting and she [was] one of the judges...I'm keeping it real. She brought her daughter there and her daughter running around and she judging the damn fight...It's a true story and then at the end of the fight, that's the day I destroyed their fu**ing door."

The judge being distracted was clearly among the triggers for 'Rampage' as his team didn't fare well as he only had one fighter advance past the preliminary round.

When did Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and Rashad Evans compete in their 'TUF' coaches' fight?

Normally, 'The Ultimate Fighter' coaches would compete against each other shortly after the season finale but that wasn't the case for season 10.

Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and Rashad Evans would end up fighting in the main event of UFC 114, which was five months removed from the finale. The bout saw 'Suga' earn a unanimous decision win over 'The A-Team' star after utilizing his wrestling to keep the majority of the bout on the ground.

The event was a success as it reportedly generated over one million pay-per-view buys, which highlighted the importance of season 10 of 'TUF'.
