Former UFC fighter Darren Till has made predictions regarding Anthony Joshua's upcoming fight against Jermaine Franklin.

In a recently uploaded post, 'The Gorilla' predicted 'AJ' to make a triumphant return to the squared circle and make light work of Franklin. The former UFC middleweight also believes that with a possible victory, Joshua should face a big name like Deontay Wilder for his next fight.

Till tweeted:

"I’m hoping Anthony Joshua comes back in spectacular fashion. Just hope he has trained hard enough and got rid of all the dead weight entourage. He should [beat] Franklin easy then it would be lovely to see him against a Wilder or something along them lines. Let’s go!!!"

After competing in the UFC for nearly eight years, Darren Till recently parted ways with the multi-billion dollar promotion. 'The Gorilla' uploaded a tweet explaining his decision to his fans. In the tweet, Till stated that he was still on good terms with UFC president Dana White and planned to return to the organization in the future.

"What’s happening everyone, Me, Dana & Hunter are still cool as f*ck. I asked UFC 2 to remove me just 2 sorts some other sh*t for the foreseeable, They happily agreed to release me from the contract which I appreciate. I’m not going anywhere, got big plans to execute & I’ll be back."

Anthony Joshua looks to get back to winning ways against Jermaine Franklin

Anthony Joshua has been going through a rough patch recently. The 33-year-old has lost three out of his last five fights and has been winless since December 2020.

After winning his first 22 professional fights, 'AJ' suffered his first loss at the hands of Andy Ruiz in June 2019.

The 33-year-old then came back and avenged the loss in a rematch against Ruiz. Joshua then fought Kubrat Pulev in December 2020 and won by ninth-round TKO.

The British fighter then ran into a brick wall in the form of Oleksandr Usyk. The two athletes shared the boxing ring twice and Joshua ended up on the losing side on both occasions.

Joshua will now take on Jermaine Franklin on April 1st at the O2 Arena in London, England. The contest will be crucial for 'AJ' as he plans to return to winning ways come fight night.
