The rivalry between Christian Lee and Ok Rae Yoon for the ONE lightweight world title was an intense war between two of the best warriors in their weight class.

Christian Lee is one of the first true superstars to ever come out of ONE Championship. 'The Warrior' started his pro career in the organization at only 17 years old and then won their lightweight world title just four years later.

As for Ok, the South Korean MMA sensation had one of the most impressive freshman years in the promotion. In his ONE debut, Ok defeated former ONE featherweight world champion Marat Gafurov. Just a few months after that, the Korean slickster defeated former multi-time world champion Eddie Alvarez.

To cap off 2021, Ok defeated Lee for the ONE lightweight strap in a hotly contested bout that divided the MMA media on who should have had his hand raised. This was the start of a rivalry that had fans salivating for the two assassins to lock horns again.

After their highly controversial first fight, it took a year for an immediate rematch to materialize, which only caused the tension between the two warriors to get even more heated. Come ONE 160, Christian Lee had the last laugh as he handily finished Ok inside two rounds. It was one of the most one-sided beatdowns in ONE Championship's world title bout history.

Christian Lee moves up to welterweight to challenge for Kiamrian Abbasov's throne

Newly-crowned 2-time ONE lightweight king Christian Lee will be fighting for a second world title just three months after regaining his strap from Ok Rae Yoon.

It's not just another world title, however, as 'The Warrior' will move up to 185 pounds to challenge Kiamrian 'Brazen' Abbasov for the welterweight throne at ONE on Prime Video 4. The event is live and free to North American audiences with a Prime Video subscription.

It's a tough task even for a surging two-time world champion like 'The Warrior'. Moving up 15 pounds to beat another world champion with less than three months of preparation is a task reserved for true legends. If he ever pulls it off on November 18, Lee will surely cement his legacy as one of the all-time greats.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan on YouTube, Christian Lee revealed that he has always dreamed of becoming a champ-champ ever since he turned pro:

"Personally, it’s always been a goal of mine to become a double champ. Since I joined the promotion, since I started my career in MMA, my goal was first to become a world champion and second to become a double champion in two divisions."
