Roberto Soldic plans to showcase his skills at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.

Soldic had massive expectations after announcing he would be signing with ONE Championship. ‘Robocop’ made his promotional debut in December 2022, but things didn’t go as planned. The Croatian-born fighter was matched up against Murad Ramazanov. The Russian grappler looked phenomenal in the first round before landing an illegal groin shot, leading to a no-contest.

Five months later, Soldic has an opportunity to silence the doubters at ONE Fight Night 10. During an interview with the promotion, the 28-year-old had this to say about wanting to showcase his skills:

“I was really sad that I didn’t show my skills [in my debut]. But now it’s time to show my skills because I have a fight on May 5 in America. It’s very good for me.”

Before signing with ONE, Soldic made a name for himself in KSW. He established an 8-1 record and avenged his only loss against current UFC middleweight Dricus Du Plessis. ‘Robocop’ was one of the most intriguing free agents in 2022 after becoming a two-division champion at welterweight and middleweight.

Roberto Soldic didn’t hesitate to accept the fight against Zebaztian Kadestam

Zabaztian Kadestam is a fighter that newer ONE Championship fans might not be aware of. ‘The Bandit’ is a former welterweight world champion with an undeniably entertaining fighting style. The 32-year-old is coming off back-to-back first-round finishes against Valmir Da Silva and Iuri Lapicus.

During an interview with ONE, Roberto Soldic had this to say about accepting the fight against Kadestam:

"My manager called me and said, ‘You’re fighting in America against Zebaztian Kadestam, a former World Champion.’ I have to fight. I never choose any opponent."

It’s nearly impossible for Soldic vs. Kadestam to not be entertaining. Both top-tier welterweights have the opportunity to take another step toward a title shot. The question is, who will emerge victorious on May 5 inside the sold-out 1stBank Center in Colorado? ONE Fight Night 10 can be seen live and for free by North American Prime Video subscribers.
