When Croatian mixed martial arts sensation ‘Robocop’ Roberto Soldic came to ONE Championship, he had but one thing on his mind, and that was to win a world title with the world’s largest martial arts promotion. But after his disastrous ONE Championship debut last December against Murad Ramazanov, one that ended in a No Contest following an accidental groin shot that ended matters early, Soldic’s rise was slightly derailed. That being said, the goal for Soldic has not changed. He is still as determined as ever to complete his conquest to wear ONE gold around his waist. In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Soldic reiterated his desire to win a world title with the promotion. ‘Robocop’ said:“I want to be a ONE World Champion badly. This is really a big thing for me, and I will try to finish as always.” View this post on Instagram Instagram PostRoberto Soldic is scheduled to make his second appearance in ONE Championship, opposite former ONE welterweight world champion ‘The Bandit’ Zebaztian Kadestam. But the Singaporean-American superstar is still doubtful for a return this year, following the tragic passing of younger sister Victoria in late 2022. ONE Championship has considered inaugurating an interim world title in his absence.Roberto Soldic could very well earn a shot at an interim world title with a win over Zebaztian Kadestam.
