Then again, 'Super Sage' always knew the Singapore-based promotion was going to be a big hit in America, given its core values and mission to present martial arts to its full essence.

As such, the 27-year-old American was not surprised by the massive reception of everyone in attendance at 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado, along with the outpouring of support from delighted fans online.

In a recent appearance on the Fistivities with KB & Renato Laranja Podcast, Northcutt bared why ONE’s long-awaited US debut was the talk of the town:

After making a name for himself in North America, Northcutt took his talents to ONE Championship in 2018 and made his promotional debut at ONE: Enter the Dragon.

As we all know by now, Northcutt’s debut did not go according to plan, while injuries and the pandemic further delayed his return.

Now back better than ever after a nearly four-year hiatus, it was only fitting for Northcutt to be part of the promotion’s historic and most star-studded event to date.

The Team Alpha Male and Evolve MMA stud was indeed one of the brightest stars of that epic spectacle, heel-hooking his way to victory against Ahmed Mujtaba in just 39 seconds.

Fans can catch the replay of Sage Northcutt’s amazing comeback at ONE Fight Night 10, with the entire card available free of charge for existing Prime Video subscribers in North America.
