ONE Championship recently announced that Northcutt will return to competition for the first time in four years at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. After spending the last few years improving in the gym, Northcutt is ready to show off and show out in front of an elated crowd at the 1stBank Center in Colorado on May 5. Ahead of the bout, Northcutt discussed what he’s been working on during his time away in a recent interview with ONE Championship:

“I’m with a great team, great coaches. Urijah Faber and all the coaches at Team Alpha Male are awesome, so I’m just improving everything. I feel like I’ve improved in a lot of different areas. I’m looking forward to showing it.”

Standing in Sage Northcutt’s way of his first win under the ONE Championship banner will be Pakistani MMA champion Ahmed Mujtaba. 10-2 in his MMA career, ‘Wolverine’ has scored back-to-back first-round knockouts against Rahul Raju and Abraao Amorim. He’ll look to make it three in a row by spoiling Northcutt’s big return to the circle.
