Much has been said of Sage Northcutt’s physical gifts, but the American star has shown time and again that he’s capable of even more activities deemed too difficult for ordinary men.

ONE Championship posted on Instagram Northcutt’s insane kind of farmer strength when he pushed a massive roll of hay.

For context, ’Super' Sage is six feet tall and the roll of hay looks to be as tall as him.

“‘Super’ Sage Northcutt is SUPER strong 🤯 The American star returns on May 5 at ONE Fight Night 10! 💥 @supersagenorthcutt," ONE Championship posted on Instagram."

Burmese legend Aung La N Sang quickly took notice of Northcutt’s impressive strength and even inserted a farm joke on the way out:

“Hay Sage, the cows 🐄 will thank you for that lol.”

It’s uncertain if Northcutt’s farm work is part of his training for his return, but it’s undoubtedly a helpful way of pushing weights.

Northcutt will make his return against Pakistani fighter Ahmed Mujtaba at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video on May 5 at 1stBank Center in Colorado.

ONE Fight Night 10, which features Demetrious Johnson’s trilogy bout against Adriano Moraes in the main event, is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.

Sage Northcutt putting in the work at Team Alpha Male

While he rolls out huge haystacks in his free time, Sage Northcutt’s conventional training transpires between Team Alpha Male in Sacramento, California, and 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu in Austin, Texas.

The 26-year-old revealed in an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour that he would usually go back and forth between gyms to develop his all-around game.

Northcutt said:

“[I’m in] Texas, back and forth from Texas to California. I’ve been training super hard. Right now, I just started my training camp at Team Alpha Male, up in Sacramento at the moment. So a little bit of both.”

Taking his long layoff into account, it can be argued that Northcutt isn’t taking things easy. The young star had to recover from the injuries he sustained in his match against Cosmo Alexandre as well as the symptoms from a severe case of COVID-19.
