Despite their limited trash talk, Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili recently engaged in a heated face-off that had fans raving about the fight.

'Suga' and Dvalishvili are scheduled to lock horns at UFC 316 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on June 7. Their initial outing at UFC Noche was fairly one-sided, with 'The Machine' dominating O'Malley on the mat.

At the recently held ceremonial weigh-in, both fighters were engaged in an intense staredown, reaffirming fans' excitement in witnessing their second showdown.

Merab Dvalishvili touches on Sean O'Malley's relaxed approach ahead of UFC 316

Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili exchanged several jabs at each other in the lead-up to UFC Noche. However, since losing his title to 'The Machine,' O'Malley has employed a laid-back approach to the rematch.

In an interview with TNT Sports, Dvalishvili weighed in on 'Suga's' change of behaviour, claiming that it has been difficult to motivate himself ahead of the fight:

"It's really weird this time. Like, he's talking nice to me. It's hard to be hungry and motivated because first time, when he was disrespecting me, I'm like, 'I'm gonna show you.' And I show everybody, you know. But like this time, I'm gonna keep it professional too. I'd rather he talk trash again, disrespect me, it's gonna be easy."
