Sean O'Malley and Jake Paul are close friends, with the UFC fighter even attending 'The Problem Child's' fight against Anderson Silva.

The American recently challenged Paddy Pimblett to a sparring match for $1 million after 'The Baddy' called his fight against Silva 'staged.' 'The Baddy' accepted the call-out and asked Paul to fight him at the UFC Performance Institute.

However, things did not go according to plan, since Pimblett's fight against Jared Gordon turned out to be tougher than he expected and he ended up injuring his hand and leg. This means he can no longer spar 'The Problem Child' until he recovers. On the latest episode of his podcast, Bromalley, he spoke about why he thinks Paul can beat Pimblett:

"There's a difference between finding people's chins, and being accurate and sniping, and then just throwing just to f***ing throw and land on something which was a lot of Gordon's gloves. Jake's a lot bigger than Paddy, a cleaner boxer. Jake probably f**ks Paddy up in a boxing match, especially after watching that (Pimblett vs. Gordon)."

Sean O'Malley was less than impressed with Paddy Pimblett's last UFC fight against Jared Gordon. He believes 'The Baddy' is not a very pure striker, and that coupled with the fact that he is smaller than Jake Paul, is why the American will beat him.

Sean O'Malley gives his thoughts on the Paddy Pimblett vs. Jared Gordon UFC 282 score controversy

The last UFC event had its share of controversies, mainly over the way the fights were judged and scored.

The main card fight between Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordon saw the Liverpudlian take his 4th win in the promotion via unanimous decision. However, fans and fighters alike believe Gordon was 'robbed' of a win after 'dominating' the fight. In the same podcast, Sean O'Malley gave his thoughts on the controversy:

"I watched it pretty clearly and the boys weren't f***ing around, we were sitting in the spot, doing a watch party, we were pretty locked in. All I remember is him (Paddy Pimblett) getting hit with left hooks and then getting pushed up against the fence. When you're up against the fence, and on your back, you're not winning."

Sean O'Malley was quite sure that the Liverpudlian was on the back foot for most of the fight, and UFC fans share the same notion. Twitter went into a spiral with fighters like Nate Diaz and Gilbert Burns expressing their shock at the decision of the judges.
