Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett is a UFC Lightweight Fighter with a professional MMA record of 17 wins and three losses. Paddy has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and is a former Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion.
Paddy Pimblett is set to face Jared Gordon for his next outing at UFC 282 on December 10, 2022, at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, United States.
Paddy made his professional debut in 2012 at OMMAC 15 against Nathan Thomas. Pimblett defeated the more experienced Thomas in the first round via TKO(submission to strikes). He then went on to win his next 2-fights against Dougie Scott and Jack Drabble to amass a professional record of 3-0. After this, he joined Cage Warriors.
Pimblett made his Cage Warriors debut at CW 56 against Florian Clarin. He won unanimously but lost his next fight to Cameron Else via technical submission. Paddy rebounded from the loss and went on a 7-fight win streak.
Following this, Pimblett was awarded a title shot for the vacant Cage Warriors Featherweight Championship. He fought Johny Frachey for the belt at CW 78, and TKO'ed him in the first round via punches to become the CW Featherweight Champion. He defended his title once against Julian Erosa at Cage Warriors Unplugged before losing it to Nad Narimani at CWFC via a unanimous decision.
Following the loss, Pimblett to Lightweight defeated Alexis Savvidis via 2nd round flying triangle submission. Following this, Paddy has awarded a title shot at the vacant Cage Warriors Lightweight Championship against Soren Bak. Pimblett failed to win the belt as he lost the bout unanimously. He bounced back and defeated Decky Dalton at CW 113 in the first round via TKO (punches) and then defeated Davide Martinez at CW 122 via a first-round rear-naked choke. He left Cage Warriors after the bout and signed up with the UFC.
Paddy Pimblett made his UFC debut in 2021 at UFC Fight Night 191: Brunson vs. Till against Luigi Vendramini. Pimblett was almost knocked out in the first round but bounced back and instead knocked out Vendramini in the last minute of the first round to secure the win and get a Performance of the Night bonus.

Both men enter the cage, and Paddy takes the center out of the gate. At around one, Paddy gets Jordan to the fence and swings big, but Jordan ducks under onto the legs. Paddy stuffs, but Jordan has the clinch. He gets a brief takedown, but Paddy gets up immediately. Jordan is still holding the clinch, though, and he's got Paddy against the fence. Both the fighters looked competitive that night and were equally dominating.
As round two began, Paddy Decided to take down Jordan, So he started trying some special moves on Jordan. Paddy traps an arm under a body triangle, and Jordan is in a terrible spot. Paddy Pimblett was initially in trouble. Luigi Vendramini notably exploited his tendency to keep his chin high during fights.
Paddy Pimblett was caught by the Brazilian on the feet multiple times with a left hook to the head. However, the 26-year-old showcased a warrior's heart, fought through adversity, and came back hard.
As the fight progressed, Vendramini became increasingly aggressive with his strikes. Unfortunately for him, this proved to be his undoing. Paddy started catching Vendramini with right-hand counters. At one point, the Liverpudlian stunned his foe with a crisp right hand that appeared to connect cleanly.
Paddy Pimblett could smell blood and go in for the kill. He finished Vendramini with a barrage of punches, culminating with a huge right hand that ended the fight in the opening frame.
At round one, both the fighters looked pretty confident and were sharp with their moves. In round one, Decky made an opening with a Kick that struck Paddy's left leg then Paddy gave fightback with a high kick. As the round started warming up, Paddy decided to dominate Decky.
He back-held Decky for a light tap, but Decky got that stuck in Paddy's hands, making Decky unable to tap. As Decky tried to escape from Paddy's hands, Paddy started punching Decky's head with some combos, and in the end, Referee called off the round with Decky's Defeat via TKO(Punches).
Pimblett describes himself as a socialist and an opponent of the Conservative Party.
Paddy's fighting style is Jiu-Jitsu.
"The Baddy" showed the world why he belongs in the UFC after a fantastic comeback performance! Paddy Pimblett, however, is more comfortable in every facet of MMA.
