At ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video, Stamp Fairtex will make her first appearance of 2023. In ONE Championship’s second-ever mixed-rules contest, she will face elite striker Anissa Meksen with the opportunity to showcase her overall skillset.

After arriving in ONE as an elite striker, Stamp turned her focus to becoming a world champion in MMA after previously holding titles in Muay Thai and kickboxing.

With 11 MMA contests inside the circle to her name, Stamp has already won the women’s atomweight World Grand Prix. That success later saw her challenge for the atomweight world championship against Angela Lee.

Against Anissa Meksen, Stamp Fairtex believes she has an advantage due to her time spent working towards becoming a champion in MMA. In a recent interview with ONE Championship, the Thai star downplayed Meksen’s own MMA experience:

“I don’t think she is good enough. And even though she had trained in MMA before, it was a long time ago. The fact that she doesn’t train it regularly, she should forget everything when it comes to a real fight.”

Stamp is out to prove a point after Meksen referred to her as just a ‘dancer’. Whilst her personality has made her into a fan favorite, it’s her skills inside the circle that have turned Stamp into one of the promotion’s biggest stars.

ONE Fight Night 6 is live and free for North American fans with an active Prime Video subscription.

Fans react to Thai superstar Stamp Fairtex’s vicious elbows

Stamp Fairtex has been able to become an elite competitor regardless of the ruleset thanks to her wide array of striking weapons.

After arriving in ONE Championship, it wasn’t long before Stamp got her hands on a world championship. After winning both the atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world championships, she then turned her attention to MMA.

In her last fight at ONE on Prime Video 2, Stamp rebounded from her loss to Angela Lee at ONE X in March. Defeating Jihin Radzuan via unanimous decision, Stamp’s elbow strikes were the big story of the fight.

After dropping her opponent with a perfectly-timed step-in elbow, she rained down follow-up shots to try and get the finish.

In a recent Instagram post, ONE Championship shared a comparison video of Stamp Fairtex working on her elbow strikes versus putting them into practice during her last appearance inside the circle.

As one of the promotion’s biggest fan favorite fighters, this is what they had to say about Stamp’s elbow strikes in the comments below the post:

@zeljkovicadam:

“Not gonna be a good night for Anissa”

@archie_uwu_2:

“'I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times' Bruce Lee”

@iamzeedrgn:

“Stamp could beat me up 🔥 and I wouldn't be mad.”

@joshyleblanc:

“This is pretty much a Stamp fan page now and I’m here for it”
