ONE bantamweight contender Stephen Loman has made his prediction for ONE on Prime Video 3’s bantamweight world title fight.

In the main event, veteran John Lineker will face Fabricio ‘Wonder Boy’ Andrade, a clash between two of ONE Championship’s most devastating finishers. Stephen ‘The Sniper’ Loman, who is riding a two-fight win streak in the promotion, believes that the power difference will be the deciding factor on Friday night.

Speaking to ONE Championship, Loman gave this prediction on the highly-anticipated match-up:

“I think Lineker has the advantage in that match. We’ve seen in his last match against Bibiano that he can come back strong even after getting knocked down. As a former boxer, Lineker’s hands are really heavy, and I think that’s his most obvious advantage in that matchup.”

He broke down how the fight would go down by saying:

“This will be a five-round contest, so I think both fighters will be smart about their approach. I think in the first and second rounds, they will be gauging each other’s ability and trying to find their timing for that killer blow. Between the third and fourth rounds, I believe one of them will fall down, and I’m leaning more on the idea that Andrade will be the one on the canvas.”

Stephen Loman is scheduled to face former bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes at ONE on Prime Video 4.

Stephen Loman calls Fabricio Andrade "Brazil’s answer to Conor McGregor"

No.4-ranked ONE bantamweight contender Stephen Loman has compared Fabricio Andrade to the likes of Conor McGregor, one of MMA’s biggest stars.

With Andrade’s trash-talking ability on the microphone and his precision striking style, Loman drew parallels between ‘Wonder Boy’ and ‘The Notorious’. In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Stephen Loman linked the surging contender with the Irishman:

“He’s Brazil’s answer to Conor McGregor, not just because he can expertly trash talk his opponents, but also because he is very precise with his striking. His timing is spot on, and he has excellent power.”

The 25-year-old Brazilian has been able to get his larger-than-life personality across in interviews and back it up with his performances in the circle. Finishing all of his last three opponents in the first round, Andrade will face the biggest test of his career so far when he faces John Lineker in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 3.

Stephen Loman is scheduled to return to the circle at ONE on Prime Video 4 where he will face former bantamweight world champion Bibiano Fernandes.
