With a heavy heart, Superbon Singha Mawynn took to Instagram to apologize to his fans for his performance at ONE Fight Night 6.

The Thai-born kickboxing star lost his featherweight throne via knockout against 'Chinga' Chingiz Allazov in Bangkok, Thailand.

On Instagram, the 32-year-old striker shared:

"I'm sorry to disappoint Thai people and all my supporters with yesterday's fight. I'm very grateful for all the encouragement from all channels 🙏❤️ I'll pick up my mistakes and come back stronger 🙏👊🏽"

His Instagram post earned comments supporting him from other Muay Thai and ONE Championship competitors such as Saenchai, Eddie Abasolo, Jonathan Di Bella, Anna 'Supergirl' Jaroonsak, Petchpanomrung Kiatmoo9, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, Andy Souwer, and Adriano Moraes, among others.

Throughout his storied career, the 32-year-old athlete has been able to avenge knockout losses. The Thai fighter was knocked out in thirty seconds against Marat Grigorian. Years later, Superbon avenged this loss with a kickboxing masterclass.

Having lost his ONE featherweight kickboxing world championship, the Thai-born athlete is planning to recover and come back even stronger. Chingiz Allazov is a challenging opponent for any skilled kickboxer.

Chingiz Allazov is now the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion. Allazov adds the ONE gold belt next to his ONE and K-1 grand prix world titles.

Superbon and Chingiz Allazov show respect for one another

After the bout, the two world-class fighters shared respect for one another. Backstage, after ONE Fight Night 6, Allazov and the former kickboxing world champion bowed to one another and shook hands:

"Respect above all."

The former champion will likely need some time to recover after this knockout loss. 'Chinga' sounds as though he wants to get back in the ONE Circle quickly and not wait for the Thai-born athlete.

Allazov spoke with SCMP MMA about what's next for him, and 'Chinga' is happy to go up in weight or face any top contender. He explained:

“Marat Grigorian is a dangerous fighter. He has power, he can go forward. Same with [Giorgio] Petrosyan – but he had his big knockout loss to Superbon. Maybe he comes back. I like this fight.”
