Reigning featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon Singha Mawynn believes his next opponent, Chingiz Allazov, will only hold one advantage over him when the two step inside the circle at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video.

The two kickboxing superstars will square off in the evening’s main event with 26.4 pounds of ONE Championship gold on the line. Ahead of the long-awaited showdown, Superbon sat down with ONE to share his thoughts on the contest, including the one advantage Allazov will have when they clash in the cage on January 13.

“Let me mention my one and only disadvantage to Chingiz - his the build. He’s bigger than me. That’s it. Therefore, all the rest are my advantages.”

Allazov scored three straight wins as part of the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix stretching between 2021 and 2022. Earning back-to-back first-round knockouts over Samy Sana and Jo Nattawut to clinch his spot in the tournament final, ‘Chinga’ delivered a perfect performance against fellow-finalist Sitthichai Sitsonpeenong to win the tournament and become the No.1 contender to Superbon’s featherweight crown.

While Chingiz Allazov was busy working his way up the ladder, Superbon Singha Mawynn established himself as arguably the best kickboxer in the world, delivering an epic second-round knockout against Giorgio Petrosyan and a dominant victory against Marat Grigorian.

Superbon Singha Mawynn wants to dominate Muay Thai and MMA before hanging up his gloves

With more than 100 career wins and an undefeated run inside the circle, Superbon Singha Mawynn has established himself as the toughest kickboxer in the world. If things go Superbon’s way, his dominance won’t stop with the 16oz gloves. The Thai destroyer plans to take over the worlds of Muay Thai in the near future, maybe even incorporating a jump up in weight class. In an interview with Calf Kick Sports, Superbon said:

"I think not yet. Because I'm going to do Muay Thai first... I'm going to take the Muay Thai belt first... [Then] maybe go up to seventy-five kilo."

But why stop there? Superbon is even looking at a potential run in mixed martial arts, following in Demetrious Johnson’s footsteps of competing against Muay Thai icon Rodtang Jitmuangnon in a mixed-rules super fight.

"Or I'll go into MMA. Like the mixed rules [fight] like Rodtang or something like that."
