ONE Championship recently shared a clip of Superlek Kiatmoo9 overwhelming Lao Chetra with kicks.
Superlek isn’t called ‘The Kicking Machine’ for nothing. The reigning flyweight kickboxing world champion tends to overwhelm and break down his opponents with kicks. Before becoming a world champion, the 27-year-old was looking to make a name for himself on his ONE Championship debut.
He defeated Chetra by unanimous decision, utilizing plenty of kicks along the way. ONE posted an Instagram video of Superlek overwhelming his Cambodian opponent, with the caption saying:

Since defeating Chetra, Superlek has won five more Muay Thai fights, adding a 2-1 kickboxing record to his ONE resume. ‘The Kicking Machine’ last fought against a late replacement opponent in Daniel Puertas.
The Thai fighter defeated Puertas by unanimous decision for the flyweight kickboxing world champion, leading to a must-see matchup against Rodtang Jitmuangnon at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video.
Superlek Kiatmoo9 knew it was inevitable that he would fight Rodtang Jitmuangnon
Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Rodtang Jitmuangnon are two of the most talented strikers on the ONE Championship roster. There has always been interest in a matchup between the Thai superstars, and it will play out on March 24.
During an interview with ONE, Superlek had this to say about his upcoming fight against Rodtang:
"Most fans want to see me fight Rodtang. And I’ve thought about it for a long time. Sooner or later, we would clash against each other, especially since I’ve joined ONE and we fight in the same division. Both of us want to be the best. And, our path led to the same goal. So, it was inevitable that I’d face Rodtang one day."
Rodtang has continued to dominate the ONE flyweight Muay Thai division, winning eleven consecutive fights. ‘The Iron Man’ sought a new challenge, returning to the flyweight kickboxing division in January.
The 25-year-old defeated Jiduo Yibu by unanimous decision, earning the title shot against Superlek at ONE Fight Night 8, which can be seen live and for free by North American Prime Video subscribers.
