Reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 is bracing for a total war against Rodtang Jitmuangnon in their title clash later this month.

The two Thai superstars will collide at the stacked ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video card, set for the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok on March 24.

Superlek will put his title on the line against Rodtang, who he expects to bring all the “dangerous weapons” at his disposal as he tries to become a two-sport world champion.

He said of the reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion in an interview with ONE Championship:

“Muay Thai has a variety of dangerous weapons. This was the part that kept him from losing. Rodtang is aggressive. He keeps throwing weapons, and he can absorb his opponent’s attacks.”

Superlek won the vacant ONE flyweight kickboxing gold back in January after defeating Spain’s Daniel Puertas by unanimous decision. He made it known that as a champion, he does not intend to sit on it for long periods of time and instead welcomes whoever dares challenge him for it.

Rodtang, for his part, is on a mission to add another world title to his mantle this year and continues to challenge himself, even open to fighting in a mixed martial arts contest down the line.

ONE Fight Night 8 is headlined by the unification bout between reigning ONE heavyweight world champion Arjan Bhullar and interim world champion Anatoly Malykhin.

It will be aired live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
