It appears Sylvester Stallone doesn't think the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing match was staged anymore. The Hollywood legend recently took to social media to share his thoughts on the fight after a second viewing and expressed satisfaction at Paul coming out on top.
For context, Stallone initially believed that the Paul-Tyson fight was a scripted set-up meant to serve as a money-making scheme for the boxing legend. Reacting to the fight in an Instagram post, Stallone urged Paul to be grateful that Tyson was acting and not actually boxing. Calling Tyson's outing an "Oscar-winning" performance, Stallone wrote:
"Business is business. SOMETIMES, you have to do hard things and sacrifice for the sake of helping your FAMILY…. I have known this unbelievable athlete since he was 19 years old, and what we saw was him giving one of the greatest Oscar-winning performances of all time!!!! Please, Jake. Be grateful, HE SPARED YOUR LIFE! Trust me."
Paul wasn't happy about the Hollywood icon accusing him of fixing the fight and took to the comments section to retort. 'The Problem Child' slammed Stallone's opinion and took shots at his alleged facial surgeries, writing:"
"Always looked up to you as a kid, but now you are a spreader of lies against my name. Sad to see you fall. Maybe it’s all the plastic surgery."

Stallone seemingly took Paul's words to heart and went back to the screen for a second look at the fight. The 'Rocky' superstar then edited his original caption and changed it. Apologizing for his previous caption, he wrote:
"Just to set my personal record straight … upon Second, viewing the best man won that night. My apologies. Keep punching."
Joe Rogan expresses honest opinion on Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight
Joe Rogan recently shared his thoughts on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight. While many criticized Paul for seemingly holding back and carrying the boxing legend through the latter rounds, Rogan was relieved his old friend wasn't badly hurt.
In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast with Scott Storch (#JRE 2233), Rogan shared his opinion on the hyped matchup and said:
"I'm glad he [Tyson] got through that fight and didn't get hurt. I was hoping that he would knock Jake Paul out [laughs] just because that's the Cinderella story. I don't have anything against Jake Paul. I like Jake Paul. I think what he's doing is genius. I mean, he's making insane amounts of money, he's having a great f*cking time, [and] he's a legit boxer, he's absolutely a legit boxer."
