ONE Championship: Taiki Naito calls out Nong-O after shattering Johan Estupinan’s undefeated record: “It will be a good match”

29-year-old Japanese Muay Thai veteran 'Silent Sniper' Taiki Naito is looking at a very big name in 'the art of eight limbs' for his next fight.

Naito is coming off an impressive performance against highly regarded 'Panda Kick' Johan Estupinan at ONE Fight Night 32: Nakrob vs. Jaosuayai on Prime Video last weekend, where he took home a three-round majority decision.

Afterward, 'Silent Sniper' took aim at Thai legend and former longtime ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama.

Speaking to veteran MMA reporter Nick Atkin of Bangkok Post in a recent interview, Naito says he and Nong-O could give fans a good show.

'Silent Sniper' stated:

"And also my current teacher, Hiroaki [Suzuki], he also fought a title match with Nong-O before, and I was there as a corner man, and I saw that, and I was impressed. Since Nong-O is at flyweight, I think it will be a good match for me to fight Nong-O."

Taiki Naito names three fighters he wants to face next after ONE Fight Night 32 win

'Silent Sniper' Taiki Naito has thrown down the gauntlet and singled out three big names for his next fight.

Aside from the aforementioned Nong-O Hama, he also wants to face rising star Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi and veteran 'The Natural Born Krusher' Takeru Segawa.

He said:

"First, if towards Jaosuayai, it's going to be a very good punching fight because I’ve also improved my punch skills too. And then the next one is going to be Nong-O, because I know he is kind of like my teacher."

Naito added:

"It’s going to be within this year, and if there’s a big fight [card] in Japan, I’d love to fight there with Takeru. And I'm very confident this fight will entertain the whole Japan."
