Dustin Poirier and other members of the American Top Team (ATT) applauded and cheered for newly minted UFC champion Kayla Harrison as she walked into the gym with her new belt.
Last weekend at UFC 316, Harrison dethroned Julianna Peña and won the UFC women's bantamweight title. She has established herself as a dominant force in the division and is now expected to defend her title against former UFC champion Amanda Nunes.
Harrison has been training at ATT since the time she made her transition from judo to MMA. After her recent crowning at UFC 316, as she walked into her gym, she was congratulated by her teammates. Harrison also shared wholesome moments with the likes of Dustin Poirier, Alexandre Pantoja, and Dakota Ditcheva.

Demetrious Johnson believes Amanda Nunes is a bad matchup for Kayla Harrison
All-time MMA great Demetrious Johnson recently posted a video on his YouTube channel, where he shared his live reaction to the fights at UFC 316. In the immediate aftermath of Kayla Harrison's title win, Johnson stated that he believes Amanda Nunes is a bad matchup for Harrison and urged the newly-crowned champion to consider retirement instead.
"If I was Kayla Harrison, I'd retire from the sport. Don't fight Amanda Nunes. Kayla Harrison has called out Amanda Nunes. I think that's a very bad idea, the reason why is because Kayla Harrison is a world champion."
'Mighty Mouse' added:
