Two of ONE’s most devastating finishers, John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade, will clash at ONE on Prime Video 3.

With everyone providing their thoughts on the main event set for the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Team Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao has had his say.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Mark Sangiao gave his prediction on how the fight will play out and who will have their hand raised at the end of the contest:

“This is one of the most highly anticipated matches for me. This is a striker vs. striker battle, and it’s going to be explosive. This is where Andrade will be tested.”

He added:

“This match will highlight how good Lineker truly is, but Andrade is really good as well. He finished Kwon and Jeremy [Pacatiw], so what I truly expect is a knockout. I’m saying whoever gets to land first will probably win, but if I’m to predict, I’d still stick with the champion. His chin is tested and we’ve seen how durable he is.”

Sangiao has first-hand experience in preparing a fighter to face Fabricio Andrade, who defeated Team Lakay fighter Jeremy Pacatiw this past February.

"I want to finish John Lineker" - Fabricio Andrade hopes to emphatically win ONE bantamweight gold

After stopping the No.2-ranked contender Kwon Won Il at ONE 158, Fabricio Andrade left no doubt that he should be next in line for a world title shot against John Lineker.

At ONE on Prime Video 3, Andrade will look to continue his phenomenal run in ONE Championship and claim bantamweight gold in the process. Finishing Kwon Won Il with a liver kick to make it three consecutive first-round finishes for ‘Wonder Boy’, Andrade made his title aspirations clear. He's even named a potential opponent for his first title defense if he is successful this Friday.

In his post-fight interview at ONE 158 in June, Andrade said:

“I want to finish John Lineker. I just saw Loman’s coach [Mark Sangiao] and I said to him, 'After I finish John Lineker, I'm going to give Loman a chance because I'm here to fight.' I want to fight all the best contenders so after I win the belt, Loman can come and try to get it from me.”

Team Lakay’s Stephen Loman is riding a two-fight win streak and is scheduled to face former bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes at ONE on Prime Video 4.
