Former UFC star Nate Diaz recently posted a photo alongside Nelly, the popular American rapper. This is the second time the Stockton native has met a famous rapper in the past few weeks, having bumped into Ludacris recently as well.

Diaz posted the picture with Nelly on Instagram and captioned it:

"2 weeks in a row I ran into 2 of the dopest Shoutout to @nelly"

Following the link-up between the fighter and the rapper, fans took to the post's comments section to share their views.

Having met Ludacris earlier this month, one fan observed that Diaz is meeting all the legendary rappers of the 2000s:

"Damn Nate just randomly running into the Mount Rushmore of 2000s rappers. He bout to run into Jay-Z and Kanye next."

Referencing Nelly's beef with fellow hip-hop superstar 50 Cent, one user wrote:

Drake, arguably the biggest rapper in the world, is known for placing massive wagers on sporting events and often shares his bets on social media. The Canadian rapper frequently bets on combat sports and notably lost a staggering $250k betting on Nate Diaz to beat YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul last year.

Diaz lost a unanimous decision to Paul on the night. At the post-fight presser, the former UFC fighter was informed of Drake's losing bet on him, to which he replied:

"Shout out to Drake, love for the love, I appreciate it. And you know what I'm saying, what the f**k! Hey, someone break that curse. S**t, what's happening? F**k the curse."
