Joe Rogan recently gave his opinion on Elon Musk's takeover of the social media platform Twitter.

Elon Musk has finally completed his $44 billion acquisition deal with Twitter to become the new owner of the social media platform. Following the successful closure, the Tesla CEO wrote on Twitter that he wants to improve the platform and turn it into a "warm and welcoming" space for "humanity."

In episode #1890 of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, host Joe Rogan gave his opinion on the recent takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk, saying:

"That's the best...What Elon wants to bring back to Twitter is reasonable exchange of ideas...But it's just rare that someone is that wealthy that they can do that and he was very left-leaning for most of his life until really recently. The pandemic in particular and the way people have sort of enforced these ideologies regardless of whether or not the science supports it. He thinks it's bad and I think it's true."

Former Legal lead of Twitter, Vijaya Gadde discussed censorship policies in the platform on the Joe Rogan podcast show

Appearing on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience back in 2019, former Legal, Public Policy & Trust, and Safety Lead Vijaya Gadad discussed the social networking platform's censorship policy.

Detailing the policies, the former executive stated that in case of situations, the platform takes responses and feedback from experts from that particular location to appropriately form the required policies to safeguard its users:

"We have a bunch of people all around the world to give us context and the types of behavior they are seeing, how that translates to real-world harm, and they give us feedback. They tell us you should consider different types of rules, different types of perspectives. For example, when we're trying to enforce hateful conduct policy in a particular country, we're not going to know all the slur words that are used to target people of a particular race or particular religion. So, we are gonna rely on building a team of experts all around the world that are going to help us enforce our rules."
