Even though UFC 306 is less than a week away, tickets for the event are yet to be sold out. However, Dana White is convinced that The Las Vegas Sphere event is set to shatter some promotional records. Suffice it to say fight fans do not share the UFC CEO's optimism.
During a recent interview with Grind City Media, White dismissed concerns regarding UFC 306 taking place on the same night as Canelo Alvarez's title clash against Egar Berlanga.
The 55-year-old claimed that the Noche UFC event already boasts the biggest live gate and pre-sale numbers in the promotion's history.
Conor McGregor's lightweight title-winning performance against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, which brought in a live gate of $17,700,000 is believed to be the promotion's most successful one. However, per White's statement, Noche UFC has toppled this record.
