BKFC Spain and the combative resumes of Willis and Davis
This BKFC Spain contest between Oscar Willis and Ben Davis has been getting many big figures in the combat sports world talking, including Joe Rogan, Dana White, and Israel Adesanya. As was mentioned earlier, both men will be debuting in the sport but each has combative experience before this BKFC foray.
Davis has previously competed in a variety of combat sports before entering the ring tomorrow. 'The Bane' competed at Fury Pro Grappling 7 where he was submitted by Brad Boulton in 13 seconds with a straight ankle lock. After submission grappling, the 24-year-old would don the big gloves to give boxing a go.
Davis would clash with Anderson Silva's son as he ultimately fell short to Gabriel Silva on the influencer boxing circuit. The bout ended after a left hook less than three minutes into round one under the Misfits Boxing banner. The Arizona native most recently fought in Karate Combat where Davis defeated Zuriel Rudi Ayo via unanimous decision in June.
As for Willis, he has a 1-0 amateur MMA record and garnered that win almost two years ago. Jeremiah Benavidez fell short to Willis by way of a unanimous decision at Tuff-N-Uff in November 2022. Notably, Willis leads content creation for Conor McGregor's media outlet The Mac Life.
