Stamp Fairtex is already one of the most accomplished female fighters on the planet - Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA World Titles all under the ONE banner. But if you ask her how she got there, it’s not about flashy talent or shortcuts. Instead, it’s about grinding every single day.
Her fight camps are intense, and not always fun. But she understands exactly why her longtime coach, Mr. Wong, pushes her so hard.
"I’d be like that, oh my God, it’s a lot," she said in an interview with Mightycast. "But I know Mr. Wong pushes me because he wants me to win. I understand that. It’s a good that I have a good mentality."
That mindset drives her daily routine as she clocks in long hours without complaint.

"I just think that I train hard because I’m going to fight easy. Then I keep doing it. In the evening, I do BJJ again. That’s my schedule normally at fight camp."
And even with the demands of professional fighting, she’s still putting in the work for her academic passions.
"Then on Sunday, I go to university to study."

“Increase my strength” - Stamp Fairtex taking things easy in rehab after knee injury setback
Lately, though, things have had to slow down for Stamp. After suffering a knee injury in training, she is currently on the long road to recovery. Running is off the table, but she's still finding ways to keep moving:
"In the morning, I ride a bicycle because I can't run very well right now," she said. "I mostly kick the pads and weight training to increase my strength."
At present, Stamp is still deep in recovery, even having to give up the title of ONE atomweight MMA world champion because of it.
