The tweet was branded as an attempt by the rapper to prepare to respond to her 'husband's allegation' by a fan.

Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, has been sentenced to a year of home detention for failing to register as a sex offender. He was supposed to inform the authorities when he moved due to an attempted rape conviction from 1995.
