Boxing promoter Frank Warren shared his thoughts on the potential Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk rematch. On May 18, Usyk defeated Fury to become the first undisputed heavyweight world champion in 24 years. This was the first loss of Fury's professional boxing career, who was criticized for lackluster performance in his previous fight against Francis Ngannou.
While many believe that Fury's best days are behind him, Warren believes that people are judging his performance against Usyk with a biased perspective. During a recent appearance on The Unibet Lowdown show, the famed boxing promoter said:
"People talk like [Tyson Fury] was slaughtered or something in the first fight. There was nothing in the fight. It was a split decision. We've had many conversations about who won it and all that. Some people thought it was a draw. Next time, it's going to be a really keenly fought fight. No doubt about that."
When asked if Fury can reverse the outcome in the rematch, Warren said:
"Yeah. All he's got to do is what he did in the earlier rounds and stay focused. He's up for the rematch. He was up for it immediately after the rematch. That's how he is. He didn't get the decision and it was a close fight. I know he genuinely feels that he should have won it. I don't talk about the decision, I'm talking about he should have won it and could have won it. And he knows what he's got to do next time to make that happen."

Frank Warren drops a hint about Tyson Fury's return to competition and it's not the Oleksandr Usyk rematch
Following the May 18 showdown, it was reported that the Saudi officials had fixed Dec. 21 as the date for Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury rematch. However, while discussing the plan of action for Fury's comeback in another episode of The Unibet Lowdown show, Frank Warren said that he recently met 'The Gypsy King' and had a conversation to discuss different scenarios:
"We looked at a couple of scenarios and we can hopefully come up with something that Tyson wants to do. We've been talking about a couple of scenarios and, maybe an exhibition bout... We don't know. But something will come out of it."
When asked to confirm if Fury was looking to return to competition, but not necessarily in a title fight or a professional boxing match, 'The Gypsy King' confirmed on the same episode:
"The magic man [Frank Warren] is going to show us the money and we're going to make something big happen."
