UFC 282: Blachowicz vs. Ankalaev - When will the main event start?

UFC 282 will be headlined by a light heavyweight title clash between Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev. The main event for the pay-per-view card is expected to start around 12:30 AM ET or 9:30 PM PT.

However, the exact time might change depending on how the earlier fights on the card conclude.

The main card for the UFC 282 pay-per-view will start at 10:00 PM ET or 7:00 PM PT. A featherweight matchup between undefeated contenders Ilia Topuria and Bryce Mitchell will kick off the main card.

The preliminary card for UFC 282 is scheduled to commence at 8:00 PM ET or 5:00 PM PT. The recently signed DWCS [Dana White's Contender Series] standout Raul Rosas Jr. is set to make his UFC debut against Jay Perrin in the prelims.

The early prelims for the pay-per-view will start at 6:00 PM ET or 3:00 PM PT. The bantamweight bout between Cameron Saaiman and Steven Koslow is expected to kick off the early prelims attractions.

The pay-per-view event will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 10. UFC 282 is the premier American MMA promotion's last pay-per-view event of 2022.

The UFC will close out its fight calendar for the year with UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs. Strickland on December 17.

What are some stand-out fights to look forward to at UFC 282?

The co-main event for the UFC 282 pay-per-view card features one of the promotion's latest superstars, Paddy Pimblett. The Englishman is scheduled to face Jared Gordon in a five-round affair.

Pimblett is undefeated in the UFC, and the Scouser has also finished all three of his opponents under the American promotion. In his last fight at UFC Fight Night 208, 'The Baddy' claimed a second-round submission win over Jordan Levitt.

'Flash' has also had an impressive run in recent years. He is 4-1 in his last five bouts in the UFC. Most recently, he secured a unanimous win against Leonardo Santos at UFC 278.

Gordon is a former Cage Fury Fighting Championship featherweight champion and has faced the likes of Charles Oliveira in his UFC career.

Former welterweight title challenger Darren Till will also make his much-awaited UFC return against Dricus du Plessis on the main card.

Once touted as a future champion, Till is currently on a two-fight losing streak and is 1-4 in his last five. Du Plessis, on the other hand, has been undefeated since 2019 and is currently on a five-fight win streak.

The prelims card for the event features an exciting middleweight matchup between Joaquin Buckley and Chris Curtis. The heavy-hitting, No.9-ranked heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik will also take on Chris Daukaus in the prelims.
