Chris Curtis is unhappy about his bout at UFC 287 being relegated to the last prelim spot directly behind Raul Rosas Jr.'s bout on the pay-per-view main card.

'El Nino Problema' created history when he became the youngest-ever fighter to get signed by the promotion. The 18-year-old Mexican-American lived up to the hype with a spectacular performance on his debut. Rosas Jr. defeated Jay Perrin at UFC 282 in a spectacular first-round finish and will make his second appearance against Christian Rodriguez on April 8.

While the youngster from UFC has garnered a lot of admiration from fans and fighters alike, Chris Curtis is not convinced that Raul Rosas Jr.'s fight deserves a main card slot. The 35-year-old American is set to face Kelvin Gastelum in the prelims of UFC 287 and recently vented his frustration on Twitter.

Curtis has outlined his challenging journey so far and wrote:

“Not gonna lie, that bout order is completely f**ked, one of the best cards of the year and I get bounced from the main card for a child? I fought on short notice. Have taken on whoever and gone 4-1 to get ranked and I get bounced for a kid with one fight? Yeah, I’m salty as f**k.”

UFC 287: Fans react to Chris Curtis' "salty" tweet about Raul Rosas Jr. replacing him on the main card

Chris Curtis is set to face perennial middleweight Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 287. 'The Action Man' will go into the biggest test of his career with four wins in his last five outings. Considering the long road he’s taken to this point, it's perhaps understandable why the UFC athlete is upset at being relegated to the preliminary spot on the pay-per-view card.

Nevertheless, his tweet generated quite a buzz among fans and users of the social media platform. While many defended Raul Rosas Jr., others agreed with Chris Curtis.

Check out some of the reactions below:

User @AudioAffluenza concurred with Curtis:

"Lol, there's literally 6 fights that deserve to be there more than that kid. UFC's is a joke these days."

User @francisjmma wrote:

"They think the kid is a bigger draw than you (he's not)."

@mmabymilikin wrote:

"I'll never understand ranked fighter on the prelims. I swear Sean Shelby making these bout orders drinking Hennessey."

@UFC_TAKES1 pushed back:

"The casuals know the “child” more than your atm. You haven’t even been active."

@Uptown_MMA opined:

"You fighters need to understand that this is a business and it's all about who can make them the most money. Merit means nothing."
