UFC aspirant goes on war footing to eliminate child predators in South Florida

Current Shamrock FC featherweight champion and a UFC aspirant, Dustin Lampros, has joined forces with Ryan Montgomery, a cyber security expert, to investigate and stop child predators and trafficking.

While continuing to train for his next MMA career move, Lampros has devoted his time to preventing children from being abducted, trafficked, or worse. Lampros initially didn't realize the extent of the problem.

"I've always heard about sex trafficking, and I had some very, very close people to me that have been victims of these situations, and I didn't realize how big it really was, Then, when it was brought up to me, and we realized there was no one down here in South Florida doing anything like this, I was all for it. But yeah, I was completely blown away. It really made my stomach turn the first couple of weeks. I was just disgusted."[via. MMAFighting]

Valentina Shevchenko responds to callout from former UFC fighter

Rin Nakai, the Deep Jewels flyweight champion, has secured her 10th consecutive finish against Aoi Kuriyama at Deep Jewels 40. Nakai, who issued a polite callout to Valentina Shevchenko after her fight, hopes to fight the UFC women's flyweight champion soon.

"Valentina came to watch Paraestra Kashiwa's fighters in the Future King Tournament, but she left the venue before I fought," Nakai said. "I want to know how she felt about my performance. [Shevchenko] is the very best talent, and I have respect for her. I want to fight her, but my intent is not rude, and I admit that she is the best in the world. I can possibly fight in another organization if [management company] Iridium wants. We are waiting on an offer."

Responding to the callout, Shevchenko congratulated Nakai and challenged her to fight to enter the top 10 of the UFC's flyweight division and fight her:

"@RinNakai2 Come back to .@ufc get yourself into to #Top10 and I am willing to check your skills [fisted hand emoji] Also congratulations with your recent victory"
