Javid Basharat made his UFC debut on March 12 at UFC Fight Night 203. The card was headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Thiago Santos and Magomed Ankalaev.

In his post-fight interview with Paul Felder, 'The Snow Leopard' mentioned that his brother Farid also had a fight on the same night, and Javid was unaware whether his brother won.

"My brother fought on the same night as me, March 12. I don't even know the result. I was warming up, we were fighting at the same time. So, can somebody tell me who won?" said Javid Basharat.

Felder then gave the UFC debutant the good news that his brother had emerged victorious in his fight.

"I got the results for you right now. You wanna know? Are you sure? Well, he started with a head kick and then got the rear-naked choke victory. So, it's a good night for both of you guys tonight," said Paul Felder.

Javid's brother Farid Basharat fought at the 'War of Titans 2' event in Spain. 'Ferocious' managed to win the fight via a rear-naked choke in the second round.

Javid Basharat defeated Trevin Jones at UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Ankalaev

Javid Basharat fought Trevin Jones in a bantamweight bout in the prelims of UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Ankalaev. Coming into the fight, Jones already had made three UFC appearances.

The fight between Basharat and Jones lasted the allotted 15 minutes. Basharat proved himself to be the better fighter and scored an impressive unanimous decision victory. The three judges scored the contest 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 in favor of 'The Snow Leopard'.

Prior to this fight, in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, Basharat expressed interest in fighting bantamweight star Sean O'Malley.

"100%, me and [Sean] O'Malley will meet somewhere down the line. Now it's looking a little bit unrealistic because he is a top 10/ top 15 guy. If he loses, he's out of the ranking again. I'm your boy, I'll be down to fight him anytime. But at the same time I do believe in the future we'll definitely meet."
