UFC lightweight contender Matt Frevola couldn't contain his excitement after discovering that renowned MMA commentator Joe Rogan had started following him on Instagram.

Rogan, widely recognized as a key figure in the sport, holds immense influence within the UFC and has played a significant role in its growth and popularity. Frevola, taking to Twitter, shared a screenshot of Rogan's follow and simply exclaimed, "Woah."

The unexpected social media connection with Rogan has undoubtedly left Frevola feeling elated and recognized by one of the sport's most prominent personalities.

Frevola has had a mixed journey in the Octagon, with notable highs and lows. After a successful amateur career, Frevola made his professional debut in 2017 and secured a UFC contract through Dana White's Contender Series. He faced both victories and setbacks in subsequent bouts, including an impressive performance against Luis Peña, where he claimed a split decision win.

Unfortunately, Frevola's journey also endured its fair share of obstacles, including fight cancellations and opponent changes due to various reasons such as COVID-19 and injuries.

Nevertheless, he demonstrated resilience and bounced back with impressive victories, with his knockout win over Ottman Azaitar and a recent TKO victory against Drew Dober, which earned him the Performance of the Night accolade at UFC 288.

Joe Rogan criticizes Miller Lite's beer ad

Renowned UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently expressed his disapproval of Miller Lite's latest beer ad, which aims to celebrate Women's History Month in the United States.

Miller Lite joins the ranks of beer companies facing backlash for their advertising campaigns, following in the footsteps of Bud Light. Earlier this year, Bud Light faced criticism when they partnered with transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney. The campaign featured Mulvaney's face on beer cans and sponsored posts on their Instagram, which sparked controversy among certain sectors of society.

During the latest episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan shared his reaction to the ad, expressing his disdain for "identity politics." He questioned the involvement of specific individuals in the commercial and stated his dislike for the concept, saying,

"I hate identity politics with a passion, I really do. It's so stupid. Human beings make beer, and some human beings look good in bikinis...I'd like to see a pie chart of how many women are involved in making beer or drink beer."
