Michael Bisping has weighed in on the Power Slap league with his first-hand experience as a commentator.

During his appearance on episode #223 of the TimboSugarShow, Bisping spoke about Dana White's slap-fighting league and what the atmosphere was like at those events.

'The Count' mentioned that he was taken aback by the intensity of the strikes he witnessed:

"I didn't realize how hard some of these people slap. Oh my God! Oh my God! And some of the women as well. They are hard-slapping b**ches! They could f**king really slap. I was like, 'Holy Sh*t.'" [1:12:52 - 1:13:10]

The UFC Hall of Famer also touched on the negative feedback that Power Slap has received. He mentioned that despite the criticism, he has been enjoying it, saying:

"I know it's getting a little bit of flak right now, so I gotta choose my words carefully. But, you know, I really enjoyed it. I know it's getting a lot of flak. These people, it's very popular. There's a lot of slap leagues out there, and then when I heard about it, I thought it was a bit of fun." [1:12:35 - 1:12:51]

Bisping mentioned that there would be a pay-per-view at the end of the first season of Power Slap. It will be interesting to see how it performs in terms of buyrate, as it will be an indicator of whether the UFC president's league is viable.

Michael Bisping opens up about Luke Rockhold wanting to fight Jake Paul

Michael Bisping has opened up about former UFC and Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold wanting to fight Jake Paul in a boxing bout after his UFC departure.

During his appearance on episode #223 of TimboSugarShow, 'The Count' was asked about the possibility of Rockhold vs. Paul taking place. He mentioned that his former foe is often underestimated but believes that he is still capable of competing:

"Luke is phenomenally talented. He's one of the most coordinated natural athletes you will ever see. Honestly, I see him in the gym, he's a beast...he's a monster. I think it would be very competitive. I think Luke would probably beat him to be honest, but you never know, Jake [Paul] looks decent to be fair." [1:01:35 - 1:02:14]
