UFC veteran Chael Sonnen had a funny reaction to the news of a burglar breaking into basketball legend Michael Jordan's $15 million mansion.

According to TMZ, on Thursday, April 4th at around 4:30 PM, the local authorities received a call about a robbery in progress.

The authorities zoned in on the burglar, who happens to be 18 years old. The suspect now faces several charges, including criminal damage to property.

Chael Sonnen had a hilarious reaction to the news with the following Twitter post:

"Hahahahahaha - oh this story has put me in a wonderful humor."

Sonnen last fought in Bellator against Lyoto Machida in 2019. The fight marked the return of the 'American Gangster' at light heavyweight.

Things didn't go Sonnen's way as he finished with 'The Dragon' in the second round via a flying and punches.

The legacy of UFC veteran Chael Sonnen

Chael Sonnen is one of the baddest fighters to have ever competed in mixed martial arts. The UFC veteran has been fighting since 1997, and has 49 fights in his professional record. The fighter-turned-analyst has fought for organizations like the WEC, the UFC and Bellator throughout his career.

Sonnen fought in the UFC from 2009 to 2013. While in the world's premier MMA organization, the NCAA Division I wrestler and Olympic Greco-Roman trialist defeated names like Yushin Okami, Nate Marquardt, Brian Stann and former middleweight champion Michael Bisping.

The 'American Gangster' also had his infamous bouts with the legendary Anderson Silva, where he almost won the first bout before being caught in a submission in the final round. He even moved up a weight class to face the then LHW champion Jon Jones, where he was finished by 'Bones in the first round. While in the promotion, Sonnen amassed a record of 6-5.

Following a loss to Rashad Evans at UFC 167, and subsequently testing positive for PEDs, Sonnen stayed inactive from 2013 to 2017, before joining Bellator. While in Bellator, Sonnen had a less than stellar run, amassing a promotional record of 2-3.

In Bellator, Sonnen also had his infamous bout with Tito Ortiz, a rivalry that made for some of the most meme-able moments in MMA history.

In 49 professional bouts, Chael Sonnen compiled a record of 31-17-1. At a point in time, Sonnen was one of the few brash personalities in MMA who didn't pull his punches (literally and metaphorically) with his opponents. The 'Bad Guy' made for some of the most entertaining moments in MMA history, whether it's his press conferences, interviews or analyses.
